The sensible way to build a content automation workflow is to start small, prove the gain, then widen the lane. Pick one content type, perhaps insight articles or product explainers, and instrument it for 30 days. Measure baseline cycle time, approval delays and slippage first. Then introduce risk-based routing, one source of truth and a few automations that remove admin rather than judgement. If the data improves, ship the pattern elsewhere. If it does not, stop pretending and fix the design.
